Extensive coverage of Senator John McCain’s death and funeral has taken over the media recently. As Americans mourn his passing, politicians and citizens alike are taking time to pay tribute and remember how he touched many of our lives. I’m guessing some of you may have crossed paths with him.

This is a photo of me interviewing John McCain with his wife by his side, when he was running for president in 2000. It was a wonderful and exciting experience. Hoping for peace for his family.
