Sally Sherry, a strategic communications specialist, provides trusted counsel to executives, experts and other leaders in the public spotlight. As one of the industry's top media and presentation coaches, Ms. Sherry is particularly skilled at enhancing her clients' natural delivery style and maximizing their ability to powerfully deliver key messages. Her expertise spans public relations, media relations, reputation management, crisis communications, investor relations and communications surrounding transactions such as IPOs, mergers and acquisitions. She advises on both proactive and defensive communications to internal and external audiences, including media, investors, employees, customers and partners.

Prior to forming Media Strategy Experts, Ms. Sherry advised Fortune 500 clients for five years in New York and Los Angeles as a Vice President of The Abernathy MacGregor Group, a leading strategic communications firm. For nearly a decade before that, Ms. Sherry was an award winning anchor and reporter for network affiliates ABC, NBC and CBS, and appeared frequently on CNN. Her breadth of experience spanning both corporate and media environments enables her to share with her clients a real-world perspective and exceptional practical insights.

Ms. Sherry earned an MBA, Masters in Journalism and a Certificate in Economics and Business Journalism from Columbia University. While at Columbia, she was awarded two full-tuition fellowships, the prestigious Knight-Bagehot Fellowship for Journalists in Business and Economics and the Wiegers Fellowship. Ms. Sherry graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa

from the University of California San Diego with a BA degree in Political Science and Economics.

Allison Girvin

Allison Girvin, a social media expert, specializes in strategic content creation for online properties, and helping clients build and expand their digital audiences. Ms. Girvin is particularly skilled in using online video to deliver messaging, reinforce branding, and widen her clients' reach. Girvin works across all digital platforms - from websites to newsletters to OTT - but focuses on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok.

Prior to joining Media Strategy Experts, Ms. Girvin was a long time media executive at network television and digital media companies - including ABC News, NBC News, Bloomberg Media Group and The Huffington Post. At NBC News, Ms. Girvin created the Business, Technology and Media Unit, which specialized in covering companies in crisis, particularly social media companies in the crosshairs of online trolls and bots. Ms. Girvin's investigative tech team focused on what made social media companies tick, learning how people game the system to get content to go viral - techniques she shares with her clients today. At The Huffington Post, Ms. Girvin launched the first of its kind live streaming news channel in 2012, and worked to build an audience for a product that had never before existed. By the time Ms. Girvin left three years later, HuffPost Live had hit two billion video views. Ms. Girvin shares her digital expertise with her students at Case Western Reserve University, where she teaches a course on social media and its impact on society.

Ms. Girvin has a Master's in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Journalism from the University of Missouri. During her career in news, Ms. Girvin was awarded two Emmy Awards, the Edward R. Murrow Award, and two Webby Awards.
